We are proud to use innovative and environmentally friendly technologies such as photovoltaics and proprietary software for efficient furnace placement to minimize our environmental footprint while maintaining the highest precision and quality standards. To date, our sustainability measures include:
Electricity: We purchase climate-neutral green electricity from Germany.
Photovoltaics: By using photovoltaic panels on our laboratory buildings, we generate more than 35% of our total electricity needs from renewable sources. This environmentally friendly energy source helps us reduce our CO2 emissions and contribute to climate protection.
Green roof: Our green roof over parts of our offices, saves energy-intensive air conditioning and creates a pleasant working environment.
Optimization of furnace equipment: With the help of our own software, we have succeeded in optimizing our furnace equipment. This enables us to minimize energy consumption without compromising the quality of our test results. This leads to a more efficient use of resources and a reduction in environmental impact.
Energy-efficient lighting: In recent years, we have replaced all lighting systems with energy-efficient LED lighting to reduce energy consumption and minimize our environmental impact.
Bicycle leasing: We offer the option of leasing bicycles and e-bikes in order to also promote CO2 savings in the private sector.
Waste reduction and recycling: Our laboratory has implemented a waste management system aimed at waste prevention, reduction and recycling. We promote the reuse of materials and ensure proper disposal of laboratory waste.
Awareness and training: To promote sustainability awareness among our team, we train and encourage the team to implement environmentally friendly practices both in the laboratory and in daily life.
Our goal is to continuously expand our commitment in this area in order to continue to actively contribute to climate protection and the conservation of natural resources with our measures as an accredited testing laboratory.
